ABOUT

My name is Emma, or Emmi, or Em... that pretty much covers my name + nicknames as 'emma' doesn't provide much fodder for creative spin-offs. One of life's many injustices ;)

A love and passion for expression through written word has been a part of who I am since my earliest memories. I could oft be found dictating fanciful stories to be written down by my mother or grandpa at the ripe old age of three... If I had to choose one word to describe who I think God made me to be, it would be 'communicator'. I was speaking in full sentences much earlier than my parents were prepared for (being their first child I came with many surprises.) It seems I had a lot to say and I was determined to be understood. This has not changed.

I'm 23 years of age, the eldest of my wonderful parents' six children, girlfriend to the most amazing man who ever lived, a former extrovert who's struggling to come to grips with my apparent ever-increasing introvertedness, a very messy hurricane of a human being, one of those people who adores animals and can't stand pet hair, lover of tea who definitely drinks more than is advisable, neither a morning person nor a night owl (it's called 'una viejita' ;),  someone who loves to write and talk and sing and generally express. (the queen of run-on sentences)

Most importantly, I love Jesus really, really deeply and am constantly trying to figure out how to keep loving Him more and more, not just as a nice thought but as the beginning and end of every aspect of life.

I'm glad you're here. I hope these meandering blog posts and attempts to solve all the world's problems can serve to encourage and inspire your own zest for life and love for the Lord. I'll try to also be entertaining, but I make no promises. ;)
